To provide safe and efficient control system service to the NA Sites. To provide or manage control system configuration services for the NA sites in projects as well as provide operational support for our production units.
About the role We have an opportunity for an experienced Automation Project Engineer to join the North American engineering hub. As Process Automation Project Engineer you will play an integral part in leading automation projects, cyber security and operational support.
Key Responsibilities and day to day duties
Lead and deliver automation system engineering projects in compliance with standards, safety, costs and quality. Lead and deliver cyber security to adhere to the site cyber security management system. Deliver control system configuration services for the NA sites Provide technical support, participate in installation checks and commissioning Develop control strategies for control system infrastructure including hardware, networks and cyber security Provide Automation support to Operational sites
What you will need to apply: Qualified in Control Engineering or equivalent. Have previous experience in Chemical / Petrochemical / Pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. Experience of design and implementation of control system software and concepts Experience of leading automation configuration activities on projects. A strong background in control system architecture and networks Knowledge of the latest cyber security guidelines and regulations.
