Immediate Office of the Chief of Naval Operations PROGRAM ANALYST in Washington Navy Yard, District Of Columbia
Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST for the Naval History and Heritage Command within NATIONAL MUSEUM. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the programming and analysis for the current National Museum of the US Navy (NMUSN) and the effort to design, build, and operate a new NMUSN campus. You will perform mid-range program planning and analysis related to the design and construction of museums. You will provide quantitative and qualitative evaluations of programs and provide recommendations to supervisors based on findings. You will perform evaluations of program development and execution to determine their effectiveness and efficiency. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Compiling and consolidating financial data for management resources, including development, technology base and operational needs. 2)Soliciting inputs from various divisions to ensure timely submission and utility of responses for program objectives. 3) Coordinating and controlling museum specific projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution. 4) Ensuring accuracy, clarity and conciseness of data provided to management for effective decision making. 5) Conducting evaluations of program management requirements to optimize operations.
