Department of the Navy/Assistant for Administration PROGRAM ANALYST in Washington Navy Yard, District Of Columbia

Responsibilities You will serve as an expert/technical authority and advisor to senior level personnel in the division and/or directorate regarding management of assigned long- and short-term programs. You will manage or support the development or implementation of other international armaments cooperation or security cooperation efforts. You will create new and innovative approaches and policies for complex programs. You will develop foreign disclosure and technology transfer procedures, providing guidance and instruction, performing program evaluation, and developing disclosure policy and other Technology Security and Foreign Disclosure-related activities. You will analyze, coordinate, and recommend solutions, proposals and revisions to DoD, DON, and Navy IPO initiatives and policies for assigned programs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience anticipating problems, developing sound solutions and action plans to ensure program/mission accomplishment. Experience identifying and optimizing resources to accomplish multiple projects/programs goals. Experience implementing innovative approaches to resolve unusual/difficult issues significantly impacting important policies or programs. Experience presenting briefings to obtain consensus/approval. Experience developing plans and techniques to fit new situations to improve overall program and policies. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
