Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer / QC Technician

Position Summary: The Prototype Department is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Quality inspection team. The ideal candidate will have CMM programing experience, a strong understanding of GD&T and attention to detail. Able to work in a team environment as well as independently while conducting airbag and seatbelt inspections.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform incoming inspection and evaluation of airbag and seatbelt products in early development or final inspection of finished product being shipped to the customer.

  • Program and run a CMM

  • Complete visual and variable inspections

  • Conduct calibration of handheld inspection equipment

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years (progressive) related experience.

  • A strong understanding of basic GD&T

  • CMM programing experience, Calypso software knowledge is a plus

  • Familiar with the operation and use of basic handheld inspection tools (caliper, micrometer, dial indicator, height gage, scale)

  • Basic computer skills

  • Able to work in a team environment
