Insight Global Sr. Mechanical Engineer in Washington, District Of Columbia

Job Description

One of Insight Global's clients is looking to hire for a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Washington DC. This role will be a hybrid schedule, requiring two days per week in the DC office and three days remote. Initially, there will also be a monthly travel commitment to support an ongoing project so candidates must be comfortable with traveling 25% of the time. This individual will be responsible for managing several concurrent mechanical and plumbing projects for federal and local government stakeholders. There will be equal responsibilities of design, analysis, project and construction management, along with development of junior engineers on the team.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Professional Engineer's (PE) License

  • 7+ years of professional experience in building design

  • Knowledge of IBC, ASHRAE, and NFPA codes

  • Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office

  • US Citizenship null
