Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver business process projects within a dynamic and fast-paced environment in the Casino/Gaming Industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure. This role requires a detail-oriented, reliable, and responsible professional, with a proven track record of managing medium to large projects from concept to implementation.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $60 - $65 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
Lead cross-departmental projects, identifying and documenting project requirements.
Develop detailed project schedules, gather requirements, track tasks, and manage budgets.
Apply best practices throughout project phases: initiation, planning, execution, and closing.
Develop and manage project execution plans, including financials, progress tracking, testing, and delivery.
Mitigate risks and manage project issues to avoid impacts on project baselines.
Provide clear and comprehensive status reports for project communication.
Interface and collaborate with business and IT teams, fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
Mentor junior project managers and provide performance feedback to project teams.
Negotiate vendor contracts and manage internal and external resources.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 8 -10 years of professional experience.
Experience managing multiple large projects/programs in an enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of project management lifecycle, including waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, and SmartSheets.
Prior casino/gaming experience preferred.
PMP certification is a plus.
Experience with SNOW PM tool is preferred.
Strong requirements gathering skills and a focus on process/strategy and business processes.
Technical skills in SDLC, DevOps, stakeholder/resource management, and PMO are nice to have.
Preferred Experience:
Casino experience, particularly in slots, table games, and marketing.
Experience working with small teams and content with a Sr. PM role.
Ability to adapt and learn the casino industry quickly.
Attributes:
Strong communication skills and a "get stuff done" attitude.
Professional, reliable, and responsible.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
