ManTech Senior Program Analyst in Washington, District Of Columbia

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Program Analyst to join our team in Navy Yards, Washington, DC.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist the IWS 1FR Major Program Manager/Deputy Major Program Manager in developing briefs to Senior Naval leadership on a wide variety of Aegis combat system fleet readiness issues with minimal oversight/guidance

  • Attend high-level briefings and taking detailed notes for later briefings to the MPM/DMPM on fleet combat systems issues.

  • Maintain a schedule of upcoming combat systems fleet readiness related briefings

Basic Qualification:

Must meet one of the followings:

  • An Associate’s degree in a technical field (this could include, but is not limited to: computer science, computer engineering, engineering, engineering management, information science, information systems management, information technology, mathematics, operations research, statistics, technology management and system engineering), with ten (10) years and at least one year Navy Aegis Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in a technical field (this could include, but is not limited to: computer science, computer engineering, engineering, engineering management, information science, information systems management, information technology, mathematics, operations research, statistics, technology management and system engineering), with five (5) years of relevant experience and at least one year Navy Aegis Experience.

  • A master's degree in a technical field (this could include, but is not limited to: computer science, computer engineering, engineering, engineering management, information science, information systems management, information technology, mathematics, operations research, statistics, technology management and system engineering), with (2) years of relevant experience and at least one year Navy Aegis Experience

  • Experience leading or supporting a major US Navy program initiative

  • Advance skill in creating PowerPoint Briefs

Preferred Qualification:

  • Ability to research program information and adapt and re-use relevant information from other briefs

  • Ability to distill guidance and develop succinct and clear text for presentations

  • Ability to create embedded graphics, tables and text using Microsoft Office Applications

  • Ability to adjust fonts and colors to adhere to provided style guides and templates

  • Ability to receive editorial comments and rapidly make corrections to PowerPoint slides

Security Clearance Requirements: Active Secret

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
