Job Description

Job Overview: The Sr. Administrative Assistant, CEO and Governance provides high-level administrative support to both CEO and Governance offices. This role involves managing meeting scheduling, calendar and travel management for the CEO, expense reporting, and supporting meetings and events. Additionally, the position assists with scheduling and executing committee meetings and tracking pertinent volunteer information. Both offices operate at a high pace, hold a sense of urgency, and strong problem-solving skills.

Hard Skills

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2 years of administrative experience

  • Experience as an EA supporting VP level and above

  • Calendar management

  • Travel arrangements

  • Business correspondence

  • MS Office proficiency

Soft Skills

  • Highly organized

  • Detail-oriented

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Professional communication (written and verbal)

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Washington, District of Columbia and some days remote.

Work Environment

Hybrid work environment (2 days a week in office). Supporting the office of the CEO and Governance office (executive departments).
