Job Description
Responsible for the design and development of high voltage (4kV – 500kV) substation projects, including:
Creation of one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, potential and current schematics, control schematics, and wiring diagrams
Drafting protection and control specifications, including relay settings and point mapping
Developing design calculations and documentation for construction
Coordinate with CAD operators to produce organized, high-quality design drawings
Integrate protection and control drawings with the physical layout and design of substations
Design SCADA system interfaces, including RTUs, HMIs, and IEDs
Develop control and relay panel layouts, including component placement
Requirements
8+ years of experience in protection and control engineering for high voltage/EHV substation projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation
Demonstrated experience developing relay settings
