Description:
Provides technical & administrative assistance to project leads to ensure success of our projects. Understand the full scope of work of each project assignment, develop and maintain project controls including submittals, procurement plans, rfi’s, and project schedules. Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Assist in estimating through performing material take-offs and quote requests.
Responsible for:
Project Controls – submittals, rfi’s, and, change order preparation.
Track project quantities.
Preparing specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
Preparing invoices.
Submitting O&M manuals.
Assisting in development of full estimate.
Participate in KPR (Key Project Review).
Managing coordination & detailing logs & schedule.
Managing schedule updates.
Managing productivity reports.
Identifying value added solutions & cost savings methods.
Education
- 0-2 years of experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Construction Management. (preferably from an ABET accredited program)
Abilities
Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.
Sitting for extended periods of time.
Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.
Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
