Job Title: Paralegal – International Trade Specialist
Location: Washington, D.C. - On-Site 5 days a week
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our client's team in Washington, D.C., supporting their International Trade practice. In this role, you will assist attorneys in various tasks involving trade regulations, international trade policy, and customs procedures. You will work with a team of professionals to provide high-quality legal support on complex cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately monitor and document new petition filings on the Department of Commerce ACCESS filing system.
Identify potential clients and contacts; prepare news releases and proposals for new cases.
Track trade data and International Trade Commission 484(f) filings for tariff modifications to identify new business opportunities.
Stay updated on international trade legislative and policy developments, and prepare memoranda for client projects and business development purposes.
Prepare and file pleadings and other documents in AD/CVD cases before relevant agencies (DOC, ITC), courts, and tribunals.
Monitor and docket AD/CVD case files with agencies, courts, and tribunals on a timely basis.
Assist in preparing questionnaire responses, tables, and spreadsheets for AD/CVD and customs filings.
Support attorneys with Section 232 tariff exclusion request filings, customs protest filings, and prior disclosure spreadsheets.
Assist in the preparation of briefs, ensuring compliance with agency filing rules and requirements.
Coordinate with economic consultants to ensure efficient workflow.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and tariff-related issues.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Experience in International Trade and related areas, including AD/CVD cases, customs procedures, and tariff modifications.
Demonstrable knowledge and experience in Intellectual Property Law and International Trade matters.
Familiarity with International Tax Compliance and Customs Regulations.
Ability to manage cases related to tariffs, and support attorneys with necessary filings.
Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with legal software and filing systems such as DOC and ITC systems.
Attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
