Information Technology Strategies Medical Scientist in Washington, District Of Columbia
Information Technology Strategies, INC. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a ​Medical Scientist​ to work for our company.
Summary:
Must be able to pass DHS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies).
Client Agency is U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Will provide support in medical direction and oversight of medical support to operations, to include the medical quality management program, emergency management and contingency response efforts, and the EMR system. Will provide support to Emergency Medical Services Program and provide recommendations for modifications to improve deficits as identified. Will provide support to medical data and information analysis efforts. Will provide prescription authorization for medical supplies and equipment through physician certifications, licenses, and responsibilities. Will provide medical support specific to position responsibilities as further specified upon exercise of the government option.
Requirements:
Must be able to pass DHS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies).
Must have a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy Degree.
Must have a current unrestricted state license to practice medicine.
Must have a board-certification in a relevant medical specialty field.
Must have significant experience in medical program leadership, to include electronic medical record management, medical data and information management, medical quality management.
Must have significant operational medicine experience in law enforcement, military, or humanitarian).
