Summary Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations, Headquarters, Front Office, Budget Formulation Division, located in Washington, D.C. Responsibilities Joining Customs & Border Protection will allow you to use your expertise to analyze and advise management on a wide range of program activities which will impact the total Customs Agency. This position starts at a salary of $139,395.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $181,216.00 (GS-14, Step 10). Qualifications Experience: You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Overseeing a major segment of an agency-wide mission or administrative program Planning and conducting special studies Developing and evaluating policies in assigned program areas Developing, implementing, and monitoring sophisticated management information systems that focus on long and short range plans, policies and programs Providing oversight and coordinating the identification, analysis and issuance of policies with managers and top level officials of the CBP NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible.
