5 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree is required. 4 years of additional experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
We are seeking a Linux Administrator with an active Secret Clearance or higher to manage and maintain Linux systems in secure, mission-critical environments. The role includes installing, configuring, and optimizing Linux servers, ensuring compliance with DoD standards (e.g., STIGs), and performing routine monitoring, troubleshooting, and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer Linux systems (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and ensure optimal performance.
Implement security patches, manage compliance, and troubleshoot system issues.
Automate administrative tasks using scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
Maintain documentation and support disaster recovery efforts.
Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance or higher.
5+ years of Linux administration experience.
Ability to keep systems modern by employing emerging capabilities such as Robot Process Automation (RPA) tools and/or Artificial Intelligence (AI) bots when appropriate.
Familiarity with DoD security standards and configuration management tools.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
