KPMG is currently seeking an Lead Specialist to join our Federal Advisory practice.
Responsibilities:
Work with large data sets within a variety of tools to include, but not limited to: Excel, Access (VBA), SAS, SQL and/or Alteryx
Work with financial data to solve gaps in an organizations business intelligence
Provide engagement execution / support in areas of: data management, data extraction, data analysis, advanced analytics, and reporting
Conduct data analysis to identify root cause of data discrepancies that lead to logic and data transformation updates required in ETL or reporting logic
Work with data warehousing concepts, relational databases, structures, and ETL best practices in finance, operations, enterprise environments
Manage and overview day-to-day federal program operations / logistics
Qualifications:
A minimum of five years of data analytics / data management experience; Federal or Defense consulting experience preferred
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
Understand complex financial data and processes to perform data analysis, review reporting logic, trace data lineage and sources
Experienced with data management, data extraction, data analysis, advanced analytics, data governance, reporting
Experience and proven history for federal program management
Proficiency with SQL to produce complex, ad-hoc queries
Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements
U.S. citizenship required and the ability to obtain a U.S. Federal government security clearance within a reasonable period of time
