The Red Gate Group is seeking a highly skilled IT Business Analyst - SME to support DIA's Service Management Office (SMO) in Washington, DC. This role involves providing strategic planning, ITIL expertise, and thought leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will serve as the ServiceNow SME, develop strategic communications, and advise on process improvements to enhance service management and delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the ServiceNow SME for the SMO.

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for Service Central presentations and deliverables.

  • Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.

  • Analyze and develop plans for complex systems, providing evaluations and recommendations.

  • Support ITIL process implementation and documentation.

  • Maintain an integrated process map of DIA Business Services.

  • Advise on process improvement strategies.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Active TS/SCI and ability to obtain CI Poly 

  • At least 10 or more years of specialized experience in the information technology field.  Specific industry experience in information technology with various aspects of the software development lifecycle to include agile techniques, best practices, and standards.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and/or experience.  Prior experience with Service Management and Delivery with solid knowledge and understanding of IT Operations.

  • Experience with instrumentation of ITSM processes in IT Service Management software suites (i.e., ServiceNow, etc.).

  • Ability to work comfortably with mid- and senior-level civilian/military personnel.

  • Ability to work independently, demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to quickly adjust to changing priorities and support tasks as assigned by Service Operations Division Chief.

  • Detail oriented, strong analysis and organizational skills, forward-thinking skills to anticipate and proactively provide recommendations to customer and team.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Strong public speaking skills required. Ability to create original documentation.
