Description
The Missions, Concepts and Capabilities (MCC) division of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking an energetic Emerging Technologies Support Senior Program Analyst to support program oversight of and advocacy for leading-edge Science & Technology for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)). In this position the employee will provide assistance in the development of and recommend adjustments to the DoD’s science and technology strategies for emerging technologies areas, specifically, Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT). This position is for a hybrid work environment which is onsite at the Pentagon at least two days per week.
Required Qualifications:
8-10 years of recent and relevant experience providing strategic technical oversight of projects
Bachelor’s degree in STEM, business management, or related field
Top Secret/SCI clearance
Familiarity with PNT technologies
Knowledge of program management practices
Proficient communication skills, including unstructured verbal interactions, briefings, meeting moderation, and technical writing
Knowledge of human performance/training, environmental sciences and biosystems
Ability to work independently with both junior and senior staff in a distributed environment while maintaining a strong commitment to deliverable schedules
