Cyber Architecture IV
Responsible for guiding the design and implementation of secure solutions and services across our business and IT support areas. Driving the successful configuration and implementation of security solutions to reduce risk to an acceptable level.
Duties:
• Blend expert knowledge in Enterprise Architecture and Defense-In-Depth principles to provide input to Security Authorization process activities and related documentation (e.g., system life- cycle support plans, concepts of operations, operational procedures and maintenance of training materials)
• Validates accuracy and applicability of technical solutions to incorporate environmental conditions with business needs. Drives standardization of architectures for future use
Desired Education and Experience:
EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
Bachelors degree in an engineering/cyber discipline with at least 10+ years of professional experience; or equivalent experience/combined education; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. PLUS
*2 years of leadership experience with planning and managing security engagements.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors and ten (10) years or more experience; or Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience
CERTIFICATIONS: (One or more required)
-CompTIA Net-CompTIA A-CompTIA Security -CPTE - Certified Penetration Testing Engineer or CEH - Certified Ethical Hacker
-CISSP, CISSP-ISSEP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSMP preferred
-CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor
Additional Provisions
• Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.
• Once candidate’s resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process.
• If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance.
• All candidates must be a US Citizen.
• Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
• Cannot have more than 6 months’ travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
• All overtime must be pre-approved in writing by the client manager or his/her designated representative.
• Agency will not be reimbursed for overtime charges without previous written authorization. Authorized overtime will be reimbursed at straight time.
• The enforced dress code is business casual, i.e. collared shirt with slacks for men, no skirts above the knee for women.
Position Details:
- Pay Rate / Range:_$75-$95_
The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
