Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Product Owner to take ownership of the eCommerce Checkout order capture and processing feature delivery. You will play a crucial role in delivering a new buying experience on our eCommerce platform, ensuring its seamless operation at scale while enabling new capabilities. This position requires a blend of technical proficiency, agile project management, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with platform engineers and business stakeholders effectively. You will be responsible for delivery of new buying experience on eCommerce platform. Using Agile and Scrum methodologies, you will work alongside platform engineers and business stakeholders to keep systematic eCommerce order capture operating at scale, while enabling new capabilities.
This role will report into the Senior Group Product Manager and can be based remotely in Pacific Standard Time in the United States or Canada.
Responsibilities
Become an expert in the eCommerce domain and drive the delivery of the Checkout order capture and processing features
Utilize Agile and Scrum methodologies to execute work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Oversee the development and continual improvement of products, ensuring they meet business requirements and pre-established standards
Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance, ensuring high-quality deliverables
Bridge the gap between business requirements and engineering by translating product requirements into workable user stories
Clearly communicate findings and data (both positive and negative) to team members, stakeholders, and executives
Drive testing, assure quality, and manage issues throughout the project lifecycle
Maintain a high level of service and collaboration with various internal clients and partners
Navigate and negotiate conflicting priorities and dependencies to ensure smooth project progression
Develop and implement new technologies, document technical procedures, and improve processes
Prioritize tasks to deliver parallel, high-priority capabilities that drive significant billing growth and impact thousands of customers
Minimum Qualifications
1-2 years of experience as a Technical Product Owner or Product Manager in a medium/large technology, corporate, or startup environment
User Story Mapping & Backlog Management: Experience in managing product backlogs and writing user stories that effectively communicate requirements to technical teams
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of APIs, databases, microservices functionality, and system integrations. Ability to translate technical concepts into simple, actionable plans and understanding of technical specifications and architecture diagramming
Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and time
Tools: Intermediate experience with Jira and Confluence
Introductory Experience: Familiarity with eCommerce checkout processes, transactional payments, and related systems is a plus

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $89,300 and $154,000. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $75,000 and $110,000. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
