As an Administrative Support Specialist (Acquisition), you will:
Provide timely and thorough administrative support with updating documents, ensuring documents are properly formatted, spelling, grammar and punctuation is correct.
Assist government procurement agencies developing acquisition strategies, work statements, evaluation plans and qualify vendors.

A week in the life of an Administrative Support Specialist (Acquisition):
Support the Integrated Product Team (IPT) Team Lead in contracting, contract modification tracking, proposal technical assessments, and other urgent action items.
Draft, prepare, edit, and coordinate various reports to assist with Acquisition documentation (RFP, SOW, CDRLs, and J&A) development.
Assist in the preparation of purchase requests (small acquisition procurements) and larger acquisitions.
Maintain various records and documents in SharePoint, tracking existing contract actions and providing detailed reports.
Draft, review, and send communication between various Subject Matter Experts and maintain archives in SharePoint.
Update Acquisition documents (RFP, SOW, CDRLs, J&A) to support IPT Leadership.
Support meetings; design reviews/audits; working groups; and briefings at other facilities.
Job Requirements
Active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility
Bachelor's Degree + at least 3 years relevant experience with a DoD agency
Willingness to learn the DoD Acquisition process and a Program Office's role within that process.
Intrinsic motivation to improve processes
Meticulous attention to detail
Professional communication skills (both written and verbal)
Proficiency with MS Office applications (PPT, Word, Excel, etc)
NOTE: This position is currently 100% on site at Joint Base Anacostia Bolling (JBAB), Washington DC.
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $80,000-$90,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
