Acquisition Analyst
Clearance- Secret

Key responsibilities may include:
Requirement analysis: Identifying and documenting the agency's needs for goods and services, including technical specifications and budget constraints.
Acquisition planning: Developing procurement strategies, selecting appropriate contracting methods (e.g., competitive bidding, sole source), and establishing timelines for acquisition activities.
Market research: Conducting market research to identify potential vendors and assess their capabilities to meet the agency's requirements.
Solicitation development: Drafting clear and concise requests for proposals (RFPs) or quotations, including detailed specifications, evaluation criteria, and contract terms.
Vendor evaluation: Reviewing proposals from potential vendors, evaluating their technical capabilities, price competitiveness, and past performance.
Contract negotiation: Negotiating contract terms and conditions with vendors to ensure fair pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
Contract administration: Monitoring contract performance, resolving disputes with vendors, and ensuring compliance with contract terms.
Financial management: Managing acquisition budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring compliance with federal budget guidelines.
Compliance oversight: Ensuring adherence to all federal procurement regulations and policies, including ethics and conflict of interest rules.
Required skills and qualifications:
Strong understanding of federal procurement regulations: Thorough knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and related government procurement policies.
Acquisition planning and execution experience: Proven ability to develop and manage acquisition plans, from requirement definition to contract award.
Contract negotiation skills: Experience in negotiating complex contract terms and conditions with vendors.
Financial analysis skills: Ability to analyze financial data to make informed procurement decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including technical staff, program managers, and vendor
Position Details:
- Pay Rate / Range: $45/hr- 55/hr
The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
