ABOUT THIS ROLE
St. Michael’s is seeking candidates for an Accountant Journeyman position in the Northern Virginia area. This position demands expertise in financial management, budget, and revenue analysis to enhance analytical capabilities and accounting transparency to support mission execution. LOCATION
Washington, DC (NCR) (Hybrid)
WHO YOU ARE
Currently hold an active Public Trust clearance or are eligible to obtain one.
Minimum six (6) years Federal Accounting experience.
Effective communicator both orally and in writing.
Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of technical accounting data.
Experience and expertise in analyzing and identifying needed improvements to ad hoc accounting management processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing accounting estimates and forecasts.
Providing accounting justifications by compiling, comparing, and correlating information about current and future programs.
Uses automated accounting system(s) and computer-generated products in accomplishing assignments.
