Position Summary

This position is in Procurement, and within the Procurement Center of Excellence Team. Position will interface with procurement, supply chain and other end-users regarding the use of Ariba, SAP and other interfacing applications.

  • Ability to apply analytical, root cause analysis to identify and resolve user issues

  • Process and design support, including the development of business cases, functional requirements, training documentation and standard procedures

  • Effective systems training for global colleagues

  • Support training for business users during M&A and SAP implementations

  • Assist with implementing process improvements to train users on the Ariba Strategic Sourcing

  • Support cross-functional team interactions with IT, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain

  • Support contact for IT to identify, define and clarify requirements for system improvements

  • Proactively drive continuous improvements in procurement systems, tools and initiatives

  • Help support the development, tracking and communication metrics around process efficiencies and other KPI’s

Responsibilities

Specific Accountabilities

  • Daily technology business support (SAP, Ariba, etc.)

  • Resolve administrative tasks in Ariba portals (SLP, Contracting, E-Sourcing)

  • Help support the Supply Chain Financing program, savings and DPO forecasting

  • Create and support the reporting of scorecarding metrics

  • Provide analysis and reporting support for procurement and supply chain related strategic initiatives

  • Monitor the use of business processes and recommend improvements

  • Help support the development and delivery of training for Ariba, SAP and other related technology

  • Support the development and execution of financial models through benchmarking and process analysis

  • Forecasting monthly, quarterly and annual data points

  • Prepare cost projections

  • Support and advise on future budgets and volumes

  • Conduct thorough research of historical data

  • Coordinate with end-user teams on long term planning

  • Compare anticipated and actual results to identify areas of improvement

  • Help create financial processes, policies and procedures

What we are looking for

Required Skills and Experience

  • BS/BA in related discipline

  • At least 3 years related experience

  • Minimum 2+ years hands on end-user SAP experience

  • Minimum 2+ years SAP query creation experience

  • Minimum 2+ years hands on Ariba experience

  • Analytically driven/proficiency

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be proactive and flexible

  • Strong knowledge of Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP’s), PowerPoint, Word, Outlook

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • At least years of experience managing projects, including interpreting and analyzing system requirements

  • Ability to multitask with proven systems, analytical and communication skills

Working Relationships

  • Reports to the Manager, Procurement Enablement
