ITW Field Service Technician (Poland - Remote) in Warszawa, Poland

The primary function of this role is to conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of industrial x-ray inspection equipment. This equipment includes electrical/electronic control, PC, PLC, and motion controls.

  • To provide world class customer facing service and support in a professional manner via onsite visit, phone, email, or remote support media in support of diagnosis and repair of industrial test equipment; including but not limited to high voltage generators, electrical panels, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Personal Computer (PC), control software and automation components.

  • Collaborate with internal NSI support teams and departments for training and problem resolution.

  • Travel to customer sites for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installations as well as emergency service.

  • Ensure that all customer concerns are addressed and the appropriate follow-up is taken.

  • Provide customers with timely updates regarding ETA onsite, required materials / supplies for preventive maintenance.

  • Assist manufacturing with system integration and installations.

  • Work with the Service administrative team on scheduling, ordering parts orders, returns, RMA’s, etc.

  • Train customers in basic operation and maintenance when applicable.

  • Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

  • International training travel as required for NSI and OEM manufactures.

Requirements:

  • Communication Skills in English, both written and verbal.

  • Specialized training and a minimum of 3 years experience.

  • Ability to read, comprehend and interpret complex technical information involving mechanics and electronics.

  • Ability to interpret schematic and electrical diagrams

  • Strong ability to use electronic test equipment such as Oscilloscope and Multi-meter

  • Ability to work independently with a high sense of urgency

  • Ability to manage service schedule that results in timely service for customers

  • Strong customer service/communications skills with a high level of professionalism

  • Experience with resolving technical issues in a highly sensitive / secure environments
