We are is seeking a highly motivated Customer Support Engineer to join our team in Warsaw, Poland, and support the operations in Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, problem-solving expertise, and outstanding customer service to clients in Europe. This position is crucial to ensuring customer satisfaction and the seamless operation of Wabtec’ Corporation products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical support for Wabtec’s products (brakes, and pneumatics)

  • Collaboration with the sales and product department regarding sales inquires

  • Technical supervision, and coordination of the mobile service team in Europe

  • Technical supervision of the Service Center

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing effective solutions and guidance to clients.

  • Collaborate with engineering and product development teams ( Wabtec Freight Engineering international team) to escalate complex technical problems and ensure timely resolutions.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

  • Proven experience in a technical support or engineering role, preferably in the transportation or industrial sector. Experience with brakes, and braking systems will be a big advantage

  • Ability to read technical drawings

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically and critically

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Polish and English

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Experience with technical documentation and reporting tools.

  • Willingness to travel
