We are looking for a Buyer (indirect Procurement) who will ensure reliable, economic, and competitive supply for products and services for BASF Ukraine.
In this role, you will be the main point for all procurement topics ensuring that the purchasing needs of technical goods and services for BASF Ukraine are met.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Secure supply which matches iBP (internal Business Partner) needs best and provide competitive pricing for categories in Indirect Procurement for BASF Ukraine.
Key interface to iBP, coordinate across sites and procurement responsibilities
Negotiate and award contracts, drive and implement contracts locally (S2C)
Purchase Order creation and monitoring in SAP – MM (P2P)
IBP Relationship Management, Managing supplier relationships
You will develop and implement procurement strategies and supply concepts for local categories
Manage supplier relationships
You will be a nominated as a key point of contact for our internal Business partners in BASF in Ukraine
Proactive action from you is required in order to bring new ideas and identify potential for improvement
Close cooperation with the IBP, Legal, Corporate Data Protection, Finance and Category Buyers from different countries
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Bachelor degree required (Procurement, Business or Engineering background beneficial)
Experience of purchasing, contract management activities is required (minimum 2 years) in Indirect Procurement
Languages: native Ukrainian, fluent in English, Polish will be beneficial
Required experience in SAP, excellent MS Office skills
Required competencies: customer focus, team working, work management, act with entrerpreneural drive, strong communication and negotiation skills
Strong analytical skills and ability to look through mass information into a coherent strategy and project management skills to implement the plan
Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit, taking full ownership of assigned categories and effectively managing and negotiating all spends for BASF locally
A strong collaborative approach with the ability to build relationships, influence and gain cooperation
