Google Software Engineer III, Full Stack, YouTube Ads in Warsaw, Poland

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.

  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.

  • 2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.

  • 2 years of experience with performance, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.

  • Experience developing accessible technologies.

  • Proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.

As a Software Engineer, you will directly impact advertisers' success. You'll build backend functionality for our innovative human-in-the-loop tools, collaborate with Ads backend teams on storage pipelines, and attribute success to our launches through experimentation. You'll also develop pipelines for video rendering and campaign updates, ensuring a seamless user experience.

In this role, you will take initiative and have a high tolerance for ambiguity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to grow in a fast-paced environment. You'll gain practical experience with technologies and turn innovative ideas into reality.

  • Write product or system development code.

  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.

  • Develop new pipelines for rendering videos, uploading them to YouTube and updating Google Ads campaigns asynchronously.

  • Collaborate closely with Ads backend teams.
