Google Software Engineer, Borg Ecosystem in Warsaw, Poland

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in software development with C/C++.

  • Experience in backend coding.

  • Experience in debugging and Linux.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience with coding in Python.

The Cluster Management (Borg) team runs as a group of smaller teams executing on various aspects of the system. Each team has different challenges from the machine level agents, through auto scaling applications up to spatial flexibility solutions for Borg. Our work is a mix of data analysis, cross-team collaboration, coding and debugging.

  • Be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing features affecting all services at Google.

  • Perform data analysis, cross-team collaboration, coding, and debugging.

  • Build large-scale platforms, systems, and infrastructure for Cluster Management (Borg).

  • Run the gamut of distributed computing, node operating system development, features, and platform support.
