Citigroup Prudential Reporting Lead Analyst in Warsaw, Poland

Prudential Reporting Team is a Team located in Finance primarily responsible for ensuring timely and accurate reporting, business support as well as various projects implementation. We work closely across functions on a daily basis (including the Risk Management, Operations, Business, Legal and other areas of Finance), senior Management and develop a deep understanding of regulatory requirements related to capital adequacy, Recovery and Resolution planning, the bank’s products, along with the associated risks and accounting complexities.

Prudential Reporting Lead Analyst is a member of Prudential Reporting Team and is responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's regulatory reporting and mainly deal with periodic reporting process, projects implementation, regulatory requirements interpretations and systems improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinatingwork of Prudential Reporting Team, including supporting and developing Team Members, ensuring acting within deadliness, compliance of the processes and solving challenges,

  • Coordination of work related to the preparation of supervisory reporting and management information related to the analysis and planning of capital and the solvency ratio,

  • Control and overview of the quality and timeliness of reports prepared by the Team (COREP, Large Exposures, Leverage Ratio on an individual and consolidated basis),

  • Managing and overview of the process of preparing qualitative and quantitative information on capital adequacy - Pillar III,

  • Cooperation with the external auditor, regulatory authorities (KNF, NBP), Polish banking Association,

  • Managing prudential reporting projects, including the implementation of new supervisory regulations,

  • Advising business units on the Basel regulations,

  • Implementation of procedures concerning the processes performed by the Team,

  • Supporting standardization efforts and also working on projects to implement process improvement ideas, new tools as well as Finance data warehouse.

  • Use effective escalation to ensure issues are highlighted in a timely manner. Focus on recurring issues and drive through enhancement projects and systems fixes.

  • Appropriately assess risk, demonstrating particular consideration for the Bank's reputation and safeguarding Bank, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance, preferably in Regulatory/Financial Reporting or Risk in Banking sector

  • University degree in Economics or Finance is an advantage but not a must and we are open to other majors

  • Very Good Verbal and written English and Polish

  • Strong analytical and communication skills as well as project management skills

  • Control focus

  • Advanced technical skills including big databases, advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point)

  • Knowledge of Power BI, SQL will be an asset
