Stryker Master Data Management Lead Analyst in Warsaw, Poland

Operations management

  • Ensure incoming requests are processed according to SLA and in compliance to guidelines and policies

  • Identifies process standardization and continuous improvement opportunities

  • Adopts and complies with process excellence methodology (lean six sigma, MDI, change control)

  • Identifies, develops, and delivers the MDM relevant training for the current scope of services

  • Works closely with different departments and proactively manages stakeholders

  • Supports the Senior Supervisor in the development, reporting and maintenance of KPI’s

  • Together with the Senior Supervisor builds a plan to help achieve the team objectives/KPIs

Key areas of accountability: EEMEA

  • Approve new Item Masters through the MDi process and assist teams having issues with the MDi tool. Audit and update the Item Master and Item Branch Master Data for Purchasable, Non Stock, Reporting and Kit Items ensuring they accurately represent the information provided from Marketing and Suppliers.

  • Update and maintain other Item related data such as Item Cross References, Alternative Descriptions, and any supplemental data

  • Lot Master, assist with expiry, sell by and best before date changes where issues have been identified

  • Assist with Lot Holds both at Lot Master and Item, Lot level

  • Maintain GTINs, utilising data from Sphere and the GIM where available and direct business input

  • Supplier Catalog for Transfer prices, from the GIM for all Stryker items and TPs for OEMs ensuring accurate upload into the Item Cost table.

  • Troubleshoot Item Cost, including the landed cost for specified regions and assist with Item Cost issues

  • Add and maintain EDI Trading Lanes assisting with Supplier project for EDI changes

  • Kit Items – create, update and obsolete kit items, working towards standardisation and accuracy of all kitting items for sets. Ensure all Kit related data is transferred into WebOps.

  • Preference Management - manage Surgeon and Standard preferences to ensure efficient processing of kit bookings and these are accurately reflected in WebOps.

  • Mass uploads – assist the business with significant data loads, such as planning parameter updates, when required for the efficient running of MRP.

  • Product & Corporate Hierarchy – Create and maintain brands & Product Lines and their associated hierarchy

  • Update the Corporate published currency rate in JDE 9.2

  • Maintain other masters necessary for the functioning of JDE such as Item Branch constants, Order Activity Rules and UDCs

  • Must be able to observe, manage and correct master data inconsistencies within JDE 9.2 and utilise reporting to update required data source from 9.1.

  • Understand and answer complex questions related to data structures and governance while maintaining positive stakeholder experiences

  • Gathering data - establish strong working relationships with internal and external customers, and colleagues in order to collect necessary information for the above tasks.

  • Ability to research and offer resolution to processing issues that demonstrate competence in system navigation and processes in order to assist in testing new processes

  • Collaborate with divisional functional teams, both locally and globally, to ensure project(s) success to meet short and long term goals and needs. As a subject matter expert you may act as an interdivisional resource for a project or assisting in the project completion.

  • Support stakeholder SLA’s and work to provide KPI’s. Ensure dashboards are up to date and are reflective of the work completed in Master Data.

  • Maintains a quality focus culture within the team

  • Responsible for preparing the relevant SOX controls

  • Ensure efficient, timely and satisfactory implementation of corrective actions for deficiencies identified by Team Lead, Internal Control or Audit

  • Reviews, creates, and maintains internal processes and controls documentation

  • Maintain objectivity, independence, and due professional care consistent with Stryker and external standards

  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential

Education Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications are preferred with accounting, finance, logistics/inventory management qualification or information systems.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required maintaining master data records or finance, supply chain/logistics or other operations experience with a leaning to data maintenance.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform consistently under varying business pressure as well as ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment

Work Experience

  • JD Edwards 9.2 experience

  • Excellent analytical aptitude with proven ability to analyse/interpret data using such tools as Oracle SQL, Power BI and Power Automate.

  • Understanding of quality management systems and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies

  • Excellent verbal and written skills, organizational, effective inter-personal skills, and the ability to work with personnel at all organisational levels.

  • Must have excellent time management skills with the ability to use independent judgment effectively

  • Flexibility and adaptability to the demands of a fast-paced environment with multiple demands, priorities and time zones

  • Business process improvement capability and ability to contribute to and implement systematic improvement and quality results utilising such tools as LEAN and Six Sigma.

  • Attention to detail and ability to communicate complicated issues effectively

  • Fluent spoken and written English. Other language spoken across Stryker Entities in EEMEA also required.

  • Exceptional skills in applicable Microsoft software programs in particular excel.
