MAIN PURPOSE:

The CBS Category Junior Supply Network Planning Team Leader will perform the supply planning of assigned portfolio within the category and will also lead and coordinate the respective Category SNP team.

Within supply planning function he/she will be responsible for synchronizing demand and supply, acting as the primary contact with Sub/Hub Demand Planners and Production Planners at production facilities (CP and Contact manufacturers), being also responsible for achieving agreed KPI's.

As Junior Supply Network Planning Team Lead, and reporting to the SNP Manager at CBS, the Junior Team Leader will act as extended team member of Division Category SNP, supporting the delivery of the category results (Customer Service, Working Capital and Cost) through the execution of Global standard processes. He/she will manage the day-to-day administration of the Category SNP team, supporting SNP Manager in recruitment, on-boarding, training and related documentation. Likewise, will also ensure the implementation and usage of SAP APO planning systems and tools.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Within Supply Planning role:

Is responsible for balancing demand and supply for portfolio of items within a category, by performing the Daily and Weekly Supply Planning Cycles, ensuring a) Product availability at Distribution Centre, b) Right inventory levels and c) Synchronized execution of new product introductions and product transitions.

Balances service versus costs in making daily supply-demand balancing decisions, using system alerts to identify and resolve potential supply issues.

Collaborates closely with Demand Planning, Production Planning, Transportation, Warehouse Operations and Customer Service to achieve efficient, cost effective supply planning to meet CS&L service and cost goals / KPI's.

As Category Lead:

Is the expert of the category looking to the short term issues resolution, managing the short term shortage/out of stocks within Hubs. He/she owns the specifics around category being the key source of information for the center Dash Board, acting as primary contact for SNP Managers (both Division and CBS). Likewise, Category leads will ensure alignment within his/her team and timely & accurate maintenance of category master data.

  • Supports SNP Manager in the day-to-day administration of the respective Category SNP team to ensure delivery of results in accordance with the directions given by the Category Supply Network Planning Manager at Division, workloads are evenly and appropriately distributed across team members and emergencies and exceptions are addressed.

  • Supports SNP Manager to run all the activities related to PM&D processes and act as key player in recruitment, on-boarding and training of new team members, contributing to keep training materials and process documentation.

  • Ensures the implementation and usage of SAP APO and related planning systems, including implementation and testing of new tools. Supports standardization and best practices cross Categories and within the team.

Requirements:

  • People management experience

  • Knowledge of SAP S/4 and APO

  • Familiarity of Supply Chain Processes

  • Strong communication skills

  • Analytical and Continues Improvement Mindset

  • Very good English

  • Knowledge of Analytical tools, Sigma, Domo, Snowflake is an advantage
