Google Engineering Manager, Vertex AI Search in Warsaw, Poland
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
5 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.

Propose, design and implement production-grade and scalable machine learning infrastructure that integrates well with existing tech stack.
Understand various use cases and pain points for conversational search, work with the modeling team, collaborators in research, and production users, to design and implement quality models.
Drive and lead the development and governance of the conversational search and question and answering stack, and address research and product teams needs.
