Location:Readiness to work from our current location at 39 Farbiarska Street in Warsaw till the 2nd quarter of 2025, when we are opening our new facility at 105 Katowicka Avenue in Kajetany.

The Role:
The role of Trade Compliance Analyst will actively support the customs compliance activities for the EMEA region and support the different functions in the company (Supply Chain, Sourcing & Procurement, Logistics, Sales, Finance, R&D etc...) in order to prevent and solve problems that could lead to delays at the borders.
The Trade Compliance Analyst is also a key player by participating in the implementation of Global Trade Compliance (GTC) standards and procedures to enable compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in the EMEA region.
What you will do:
This role is shared between day-to-day operational activities and the participation in more global topics/projects.
You provide operational support to daily operations by responding in a timely manner to requests received, mostly related to new items creations and manual shipments: customs classification (HS codes), country of origin determination, customs value, free trade agreements, export control regulations (BDU/ECCN), document requirements, etc…
You participate in working groups as needed and are responsible for helping to define Global Trade Compliance standards and procedures for Markem-Imaje, as well as for their implementation by raising awareness and training the various players in the company.
You participate to audit and controls linked with Trade Compliance processes and procedures; you lead corrective actions as appropriate.
What you need to have:
Diploma in International Trade, Customs, Supply Chain, Logistics, Brokerage or equivalent field/qualifications
At least a first proven experience in a similor role
Solid and pratical knowledge of customs regulations (EU) for import and export
Team spirit and ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision
Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization
Open-minded, result-oriented, proactive, attentive and detaile-oriented, listen to others, force of proposal
Ability to adapt to change, to manage priorities and to carry out actions until the completion of the deliverables
IT agility (Microsoft Office Pack, SAP is a plus)
Fluent English
Excellent written and oral communication
