We are seeking a highly experienced technical leader specializing in Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes to join our leadership team. In this senior leadership role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP solutions that support and enhance our manufacturing and supply chain operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves leading the solution engineering team, acting as the design authority for end-to-end SAP solutions, and ensuring seamless integration and optimization of various processes such as order-to-cash, make-to-order/stock, configure-to-order, forecast-to-supply, and record-to-report. The role is responsible for managing subordinates in professional jobs or managing through subordinate managers / supervisors or is a leader of process that achieves results through others, who are not direct reports.

Responsible for leading the development and management of business partnerships with the specified business and their leadership teams. This role will formulate IT strategy and architecture in alignment with business strategy and objectives. The individual will drive key programs and IT services, as well as innovation and continuous improvement in the application of technology to achieve financial, operational and customer service goals.

Key responsibilities include:

Provide visionary leadership in the design and implementation of SAP solutions for manufacturing and supply chain processes in the MedTech industry. Develop and drive strategic roadmaps that align with business goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Lead the architecture and design of integrated SAP solutions that encompass SD (Sales and Distribution), PP (Production Planning), QM (Quality Management), PM (Plant Maintenance), WM/EWM (Warehouse Management/Extended Warehouse Management), IM (Inventory Management), AATP (Advanced Available to Promise), TM (Transportation Management), and GTS (Global Trade Services) modules to optimize manufacturing and supply chain operations, with a focus on compliance and quality.

Ensure that SAP solutions comply with industry regulations and standards such as FDA, ISO, and other relevant MedTech guidelines. Implement processes to maintain compliance throughout the solution lifecycle.

Work closely with business stakeholders to understand complex requirements and translate them into effective and scalable SAP solutions. Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.

Mentor and coach cross-functional teams, providing guidance on best practices in SAP solution design, configuration, and integration. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.

Drive innovation by evaluating emerging SAP technologies and recommending solutions that enhance manufacturing and supply chain processes. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance and business operations.

Act as a subject matter expert in SAP S4/HANA and/or ECC platforms. Provide technical leadership in the areas of ABAP, PI/PO, and SAP Fiori.

Manage relationships with third-party vendors and consultants, including vendor selection, negotiation, and oversight. Ensure that vendor deliverables meet project requirements and quality standards.

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex SAP projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Provide oversight and governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful implementation of SAP solutions. Monitor and address risks proactively.

Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of deliverables. Conduct regular quality reviews and audits.

Stay updated on industry trends and SAP advancements. Share insights and best practices with the team and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Accountable for leading a team of IT Professionals, both direct and matrix, to ensure IT standards are maintained

Partner with IT Business Partners, Enterprise Architecture, Program Enablement, Infrastructure, Security & Governance teams in delivering business projects

Qualifications & experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum 10 years of professional work experience in Information Technology discipline, including people leadership experience

Minimum of 8 - years of progressive experience in SAP ERP solution architecture and implementation, with a focus on manufacturing and supply chain processes.

Extensive functional knowledge of SAP modules including SD, PP, QM, PM, WM/EWM, IM, AATP, TM, and GTS, with a proven track record of delivering complex SAP projects.

Expertise in SAP S4/HANA and/or ECC platforms, including hands-on experience in solution design, configuration, and customization.

Strong proficiency in SAP technologies such as ABAP, PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration), and SAP Fiori.

Knowledge of MES Apriso, SAP Ariba, SAP Integrated Business Planning, PTC Windchill is preferred

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and a passion for driving business transformation.

Experience in vendor management, including vendor selection, negotiation, and oversight of third-party vendors and consultants engaged in SAP projects.

Demonstrated knowledge of MedTech industry regulations and standards such as FDA, ISO, and other relevant guidelines.

SAP certifications in relevant modules or technologies are highly desirable.

Ability to understand, interpret and translate emerging trends, future visions and strategies into executable programs and projects that align to the current state architecture and business environment.

The incumbent will be results oriented, able to design and deliver rapid solutions for the team.
