Citigroup Custody Tax Operations Analyst in Warsaw, Poland
You’ll be a part of a very dynamic team focused on the following types of activities:
Reconciling, processing and submitting WHT tax reclaim applications, resulting from dividend and interest distributions paid to our Clients, to tax authorities in various countries across entire globe
Resolving queries raised by tax authorities and/or our Clients
Acting as a checker in the process
Providing support to other tax related processes if needed
Participating in process of onboarding new Clients if required
Assisting in preparation of special reports and ad-hoc projects
Your key responsibilities:
Preparing documentation in the tax reclaim process
Validating documentation prepared by team members
supporting the onboarding of new Clients or processes
building safe environment to test new solutions and encourage outside the box thinking
challenging covered process in order to identify and mitigate risks
assisting in development junior team members
Qualifications:
2-3 years of relevant experience
Fluency in English, German will be an asset
Computer literacy
Ability to organize work efficiently and meet deadlines
Strong creativity, innovation, problem solving skills
Willingness to develop and learn fast
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
