Stanley Black and Decker Brand Manager STANLEY – Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) in Warsaw, Poland

Location: Warsaw, remote (occasional office presence)

Purpose

Create a connection between our products and end users through brand communication. You will need to build brand loyalty and consistency to ensure continued purchase and use of our products with market share growth as the main objective. You have strategic and operational responsibility in terms of brand communication across a range of product groups. Continuously aim towards positive development of the annual turnover and the overall profitability of the business.

The Job (responsibilities):

  • Strategic and operational management of the STANLEY brand

  • Continually enhance brand image and increase brand awareness

  • Develop regional brand communication plans and strategy

  • Align with central EANZ brand team on strategic brand execution

  • Participate in regional and international product launches and training events

  • Develop and maintain branded communication channels. (For example, specific brand related print and digital content for websites, campaign materials, customer POS)

  • Work in partnership with the Digital Marketing team to create demand and drive MEU acquisition through a content rich digital ecosystem: email, web, social, etc

  • Close cooperation with Trade Marketing team, participate in budget planning, strategic plans, investment plans and promotional budget compliance

  • We expect you to challenge our marketing plan, its preparation, and its execution

  • Support customer specific product promotions

  • Ensure that all commercialization and brand materials, including presentations and relevant products, are presented in the best way to sales teams and customers

  • Maintain a close relationship with sales teams

  • Drive POS and print optimizations

The Person (requirements):

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role (Brand Marketing related)

  • Experience with either (or both) B2B and B2C marketing

  • Higher Degree: Business or Marketing (or equivalent through experience)

  • English language – professional communication

  • Commercial awareness - understanding of the dynamics of the tools market, the impact of decisions and the needs of our key retailers and end users

  • Excellent & adaptable communication skills - proactively communicating at all levels internally and externally, local markets, product managers and outside agencies

  • Analytical skills - able to adapt and solve problems by making decisions that are sensible given the available information

  • Financial understanding - to understand necessary financial areas both internal and external and to use these skills to drive sales and margin for the business

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial environment

  • Resilience to handle feedback and challenging timeframes / delivery

  • Agility to change plans based on adapting focus areas
