Team/Role Overview:

Benefits Senior Analyst will support the day to day running of the Citi UK Pension Plans . The Incumbent will work with the UK/Europe Retirement Manager and UK Retirement Team. In addition, the role will involve working with the HR Community, UK counterparts in other Citigroup businesses, outsourced vendors/administrators, as well as the Trustee Board and Committees. Broader Europe Retirement Team may be supported as needed.

What you'll do:

  • Provide support to ensure the correct running of the company pension arrangements (from both a trustee and company perspective)

  • Act as a pension specialist and work with other specialist areas (e.g. Human Resources, Payroll) as appropriate to provide seamless support to employees and members.

  • Contribute to pensions projects

  • Support the delivery of business-as-usual activities.

  • Support the UK Retirement Team in their role as Secretariat to the Trustee Board and Committees as required.

  • Support the Team in managing the relationship with the third-party administrator and outsourced vendors, resolving issues and enduring relevant changes to schemes or potential developments which impact on administration are acted on appropriately and to escalate any issues to the Retirement Manager and Team as appropriate.

  • Work closely with payroll and the administrators to resolve data and contribution issues.

  • Support and manage projects in respect of any aspect of pension provision; Support vendor invoice management

  • Work with the flex benefits and HR system, ensuring pension plans set up and contributions processed correctly.

What we'll need from you:

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience preferred

  • Understanding of general HR practices, particularly pension and benefits provision.

  • Technical Pensions experience would be beneficial, though full training will be provided in the area of retirement plans.

  • Experience of dealing with corporate processes, payroll, and invoice management

  • Experience of dealing with a range of stakeholders

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication

  • Fluent English

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience;
