We are looking for an experienced engineer who can take responsibility for Thermal Systems Design on multiple engine programs (Leap, CF6, CF34) and lead heat transfer & secondary flows for cost, field, manufacturing support and other life cycle engineering activities.

The Advanced Lead Engineer demonstrates leadership and accountability in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area of responsibility. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned individual and team projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements

  • Provide technical leadership to personnel/ cross functional teams supporting the assigned project

  • Lead or participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues.

  • Recommend approach to meet the technical and program requirements

  • Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and contract commitments

  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures

  • Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews

Required Qualifications

  • MSc/BSc in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science

  • Significant experience relevant to indicated position area of expertise

  • Executing analyses /evaluation of assigned projects

  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills and ability to reasonably set priorities for assigned tasks
