Laborer
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will play a crucial role in floor installation. This is a physically demanding position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: -Removing existing flooring and discarding of this material, if applicable. -Clearing the work surface from dust, debris, and obstructions. -Preparing the work surface by applying adhesive, grouting, or other appropriate materials. -Laying wood, carpeting, tiles, and other types of flooring. -Ensuring that the flooring materials are well-positioned, secure, and clean. -Completing the installation by applying appropriate finishes. -Following safe procedures and encouraging clients to do the same, where applicable. -Assist with general warehouse duties, such as organizing inventory, cleaning, and restocking shelves -Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks Requirements: -Prior experience as a flooring installer (preferred). -Valid driver's license is preferable. -Good arithmetic skills. -Capable of independent and group work. -Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and troubleshooting abilities. -Thorough and efficient. -Physically fit and able to lift large, heavy equipment and materials, and stand for extended periods of time.
