LifePoint Health Lead Support - Medical Imaging - FT Weekdays in Warrenton, Virginia
The Medical Imaging Support Lead independently performs all clerical and receptionist duties to coordinate the activities of the Medical Imaging department, including the creation and management of imaging related data, reports, and unit manuals.
- Facilitates imaging record requests, creates support staff schedules, views and corrects support staff timecards, and recommends and implements process improvements.
- Prepares and maintains medical records to include necessary chart forms, affixes patient labels, and scans applicable documents. Accurately enters, verifies, and/or transmits patient charges as assigned.
- Develops and maintains familiarity of registration processes and insurance requirements. Verifies daily census and distributes report timely to departments/individuals as is appropriate.
- Answers telephone promptly and courteously, takes accurate and complete messages, forwards or answers inquiries as appropriate. Provides a positive interface with internal and external customers.

Minimum Education □ High school diploma or equivalent □ Preferred X Required
Minimum Work Experience Required - 2 years health care experience with at least one year in a hospital setting.
Experience in a support role within a Medical Imaging environment strongly preferred.
Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
