LifePoint Health Endoscopy Technician - FT Weekdays with Call in Warrenton, Virginia
8 hour shifts. On Call Rotation Required.
Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care and clerical/administrative activities.
- Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, possibly taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
- Ensures supplies and equipment are available and in working condition, including instrument sterilization.
- Performs designated sterile and aseptic procedures using proper technique (i.e., venipuncture and phlebotomy, IV insertions, and foley insertions). Maintains sterile field while handling instruments during procedures.

Minimum Education □ High school diploma or equivalent □ Preferred X Required
Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required Skills Certifications: X Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred: Clinical Technician training program.
Minimum Work Experience Required - 1 year of experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Services Technician, or other clinical position in a hospital setting.
Preferred - Previous surgical or endo experience
Minimum Education SGNA , GTS, GI Technical Specialist credential within 6 months of hire
