The Cigna Group Senior Advisor, Strategic Sourcing Analytics - Express Scripts - Hybrid in Warrendale, Pennsylvania
POSITIION SUMMARY
The Senior Advisor will be responsible for the business and financial support for Express Scripts Pharmacy Strategic Sourcing. Through technical expertise, and cross-functional partnership, provide counsel and make recommendations on significant Drug Sourcing and broader Supply Chain initiatives through the use of data.
This role requires a continuous-improvement mindset which will be demonstrated through implementation of new technical products, processes, standards, and operational plans that will have an impact on the achievement of functional results.
This position is in-office aligned and will require the flexibility to perform onsite 3 days per week at one of the following facilities:
Florence, NJ
St. Louis, MO
Tempe, AZ
Whitestown, IN
Warrendale, PA
Primary Functions
Act as a SME for Strategic Sourcing data and analysis components by translating business needs into enhanced or automated solutions.
Create cross-functional partnerships across Supply Chain and Express Scripts/Cigna that further the goals of Supply Chain and Drug Sourcing.
Conceptualize, model, and maintain in-depth analysis supporting various functions across multiple Drug Sourcing teams.
Prepare and present analysis to support problem-solving; supplement leadership with rapid insights in support of strategic business decisions.
Execute ad hoc requests to support business initiatives and various “what if” scenarios.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Supply Chain, or related curriculum preferred
5+ years relevant experience analyzing and reporting data; business analytics, financial analysis experience preferred
Proficient using Excel, SQL, Teradata, PowerPoint
Experience in Tableau and Alteryx preferred
Strong communication (oral and written), presentation, and facilitation skills.
Demonstrated ability to influence, persuade, and collaborate with audiences at various levels of experience and responsibility
Analytical, highly organized, able to work with some direct supervision, and motivated to meet deadlines
Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to meet competing timeline/deadlines
Related work experience in PBM, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industry preferred
