Fiserv Test Analyst, Staff in Warren, New Jersey

About the Role:

This position plays a core role in the software delivery process for the Product team. The purpose of this position is to implement a test automation strategy and governance framework and to oversee the execution and maintenance of a unified test automation platform and related tools for Fiserv. The secondary purpose of this position is to provide subject matter expertise and support for either API or Mobile performance testing, security testing, and other non-functional test activities. The Test Engineer also plays a role in supporting manual test activities required to ensure all releases reach the quality standard required by the company.

You will be required to respond to occasional requests for additional off-hour work in development of the event of an emergency client incident or critical business need wider QA team through mentoring and guidance.

Key Relationships:

This position is part of an automation test engineering team working within the overall Product Development team supporting Test Analysts, Developers, BA, Product Owners.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 3+ year’s experience in software testing following Rapid software testing techniques

  • 1+ years development experience in Test Automation (XCTest, Espresso)

  • Military-Affiliated candidates encouraged to apply (Veterans, Military Spouses, and Guard/Reservists)

  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship

  • High school diploma required/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field

Desirable Skills:

  • Automation framework setup in a CI/CD environment (Native tools such as Espresso and XCTest preferred)

  • Proficient in the day-to-day practicalities of Agile software testing methodologies such as Kanban, Scrum, or the XP.

  • Knowledge of API’s and how to utilize or debug with tools like SoapUI, Charles Proxy, Postman

  • Preferred standard QA certification e.g. ISTQB.
