We are looking for a Global Marketing & Digital Director who will leverage their digital acumen to drive a modern marketing agenda across the brand – building brands with purpose, turning purpose into action aligned to its sustainability goals, and developing a marketing mix across the full funnel to bring to life its brand idea, compelling people to think, feel, and behave differently. Provision may be made for the candidate to grow in digital expertise, but he/she must demonstrate a curiosity and willingness to learn and acquire digital knowledge: leveraging trends, building digital partnerships, progressing our data journey, test and learn approach to program performance.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

Brand Stewardship

  • Define the long-term vision and strategic growth plan / brand growth plan for the brand

  • Articulate the ‘where to play’ choices for the brand

  • Build, socialize, and act against a clear brand heart and purpose

  • Shape all elements of brand strategy: including but not limited to human experience journey mapping, brand architecture, pricing strategy, brand expansion strategy, audience insight development & deployment, brand asset development & deployment

  • Transfer best practices and drive exceptional market engagement

  • Develop global marketing initiatives to drive business growth; ensure all consumers connections deliver against enterprise purpose of ‘everyday health with humanity’

Outstanding consumer, expert and digital connections

  • Develop a connections eco-system that identifies compelling connections points with the target audience(s) at the right moment, in the right way

  • Lead and deliver compelling, superior and differentiated brand ideas that drive performance both in long-term brand health and leadership but also campaigns that can create impact in the short term.

  • Ensure the brand idea translates seamlessly across platforms, channels and touchpoints effectively driving the brand objectives and brilliantly tailoring creative to consumer’s context taking care to seek opportunities to deepen consumer relationships & conversations where possible

  • Deliver toolkits that service the brands always-on requirements alongside specific campaign needs such as: Category growth story, Media connection guidelines, Creative assets across all identified channels (e.g., social, broadcast, earned), shopper toolkit, D-comm FCP asset suite, Experience & visual brand language, claims hierarchy

  • Ensure that there is an integrated consumer, shopper and expert connection strategy across paid/owned and earned at the moments that matter along the CEJ / ERJ.

  • Understand the criticality of search and can lead and oversee the global search strategy across paid, owned and earned

  • Leads global learning agendas to unlock growth such as the use of dynamic asset (DCO), search and web strategies, CRM/marketing automation and digital consumer experiences to unlock new growth opportunities

Exceptional team leader and champion diverse talent and skills

  • To set direction, empower, motivate and guide the team of two direct reports, setting strong behavioral examples in personal development, demonstration of values and engagement of a diverse workforce

  • To play a senior role within the wider brand team & with cross functional partners (e.g. R&D) – ensuring cohesion of innovation, comms, design and expert team thinking and deliverables through to the consumer in a seamless manner

  • Exceptional relationships and ability to influence senior stakeholders in region / BU and LOC marketing / commercial excellence and cross-functional teams to be close to key market performance, consumer and competitor trends, ensure alignment and brilliant program delivery with the ability to problem solve for performance in a timely fashion.

  • Maintain strong relationships with agencies & strategic partners to deliver best-in-class campaigns that strengthen brand equity and build brands that are first choice

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • World class brand building experience to include growth opportunity identification, brand positioning, brand architecture, performance management and general brand stewardship with strong delivery and in market performance

  • Ability to set clear and compelling vision to growth and influence to achieve global alignment and deployment

  • Proven ability to lead and deliver world-class digital strategy, communication and experiences.

  • Exceptional relationships with Regional / BU / local management, marketing, medical & commercial excellence teams

  • Demonstrated the ability to lead complex projects with successful outcomes, within a matrix organization

  • Highly developed commercial acumen with experience in P&L/budget management, pricing/mix/promotional strategies, brand architecture; with a focus on performance.

  • Professional Marketing Qualification or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • MBA or Related Qualification

  • World class brand building experience to include growth opportunity identification, brand positioning, brand architecture, performance management and general brand stewardship with strong delivery and in market performance

  • Ability to set clear and compelling vision to growth and influence to achieve global alignment and deployment

  • Proven ability to lead and deliver world-class digital strategy, communication and experiences.

  • Exceptional relationships with Regional / BU / local management, marketing, medical & commercial excellence teams

  • Demonstrated the ability to lead complex projects with successful outcomes, within a matrix organization

  • Highly developed commercial acumen with experience in P&L/budget management, pricing/mix/promotional strategies, brand architecture; with a focus on performance.

  • Outstanding influencing, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills

The estimated salary range for this role is $201,155 - 290,100.
