Johnson Payroll Joint Venture Agricultural Equipment Operator in Warren, Minnesota
Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Warren, MN. From: 02/10/2025 to 11/15/2025 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri. 8 hrs./day. Overtime possible. All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. ESST Law: Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) a year. JOB DUTIES: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store crops of Corn, Soybeans, Spring Wheat and Sugar Beets. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and maintenance to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here at his sole discretion. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of (3) months experience required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Must be able to lift and carry 60 lbs. Work requires extensive pushing, pulling, frequent stooping, and bending and repetitive movements. No minimum education required. Employer provides work related tools, supplies and equipment at no cost to employee. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
