Philip Olson Agricultural Equipment Operator in Warren, Minnesota

Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operator to work in Warren, MN. From: 03/01/2024 to 12/31/2024. Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri. 8 hrs./day All hours worked in excess of 48 hours/week will be paid at the rate of time and a half. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here at his sole discretion. JOB DUTIES: Perform duties on a farm like: Attach implements to tractor; cultivate crops; drive and operate Farm Machinery; drive grain trucks; harvest crops; operate towed equipment to plant crops; operate towed equipment to cultivate crops; plant crops; plow soil; till soil; transport crops to elevator/storage area; use GPS autosteersystems; use forklift; apply pesticides/herbicides to crops; apply fertilizers to crops; clean bins; load grain trucks; clean and maintain grounds/facilities; maintain/build fences; mix materials/chemicals for planter/sprayer; incidental equipment cleaning; incidental repainting; changing oil as needed; thorough repairs; welding; fabricating; sanding/grinding; assist in repairing equipment if needed; driving equipment to and from fields. Crops: Corn, Soy Beans, Sunflower, Wheat. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum (3) months experience; must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.; must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire; Experience as Ag Equipment Operator; work performed requires extensive sitting and walking, exposure to extreme temperatures, and repetitive movements. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employer's expense due to the liability of driving trucks on public roads. Employer requires criminal background check post hire at employer's expense. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
