Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to handle equipment maintenance on a 2nd shift. Our facility, a long-established, family-owned shop recently acquired by a new owner investing in modernization, specializes in the production of grinding wheels for various industries. The role involves performing basic equipment diagnosis, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and preventive maintenance. You will work on older machines, integral to our unique production processes, which are being gradually upgraded and refurbished.
Hard Skills
Troubleshooting Hydraulics & Pneumatics
Preventative Maintenance
Basic Electrical knowledge (110V-480V)
Experience with PLC systems
Ability to weld and machine
Knowledge of disassembling/reassembling gearboxes, cylinders, pumps, valves
Repairing ac/dc motors, starters, relays, and drives
Soft Skills

Work Environment

Parts may sometimes need to be sourced unconventionally, such as through online platforms like eBay. The environment is non-air-conditioned and can be dirty, but efforts are being made to enhance the workspace.
