Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team
This role is crucial to maintaining the functionality and safety of our facility
Responsibilities
Perform carpentry tasks, including repairing furniture, building cabinets, repairing doors, and conducting minor remodeling.
Oversee the installation of new equipment by contractors as required.
Paint interior and exterior building surfaces, fixtures, and furniture.
Repair electrical appliances and light fixtures.
Repair manufacturing equipment in case of failure.
Maintain records of all repair and maintenance activities, parts used, supplies needed, and related inventory items.
Perform necessary in-house projects and keep an up-to-date log of project timings.
Identify and correct any safety issues within the facility.
Maintain inter-shift communication by logging shift notes in the Communication Log daily.
Follow company policies and business objectives in the daily management of facility operations.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in a facilities maintenance role (industrial or commercial).
Proficient in carpentry tasks such as repairing furniture, building cabinets, repairing doors, and performing minor remodeling.
Experienced in facilities tasks including plumbing, painting, light fixtures, toilets, utility, floors, and building infrastructure.
Skilled in painting interior and exterior building surfaces, fixtures, and furniture.
Ability to repair electrical appliances and light fixtures (low voltage, 24V).
Experience in troubleshooting small equipment.
Proficient in maintaining records of repairs and activities.
Shift
1st Shift: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
