ATS Scientific Productsis seeking aCustomer Service Specialistto join the team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform duties to process domestic and international customer orders for sales territories in an accurate and timely manner, maintain effective customer relations and assist customer by resolving problems. Order processing cycle includes, but not limited to, purchase order review, accurate and efficient order entry, acknowledgments, order and shipment status, order cancellations, payment tracking, price discrepancies, order troubleshooting, and responding to phone calls circulated through the phone queue. Daily review of open order reports to ensure “On-Time In Full” performance targets are met. Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, accounting, shipping and other departments to ensure best customer experience.

As needed, additional responsibilities may include supporting the commercial team with sales analysis, creating sales quotes, distribute and follow up on customer surveys and other general sales support projects. This role will also be responsible for international customer support and other training as needed.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task, time management and detail-oriented aptitude

  • Accurate data entry skills

  • Organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Strong telephone communication and interpersonal skills

  • Professional, engaging demeanour, able to forge relationships with customers, co-workers

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, ERP or other Order Processing System knowledge

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • HS Diploma or equivalent

  • Recent 3-5 years Customer Service experience

  • International trade specialist knowledge (Tariffs, Incoterms, International documentation/payments (Letter of credit, CAD), etc.) is a plus
