Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Substitute Teacher\'s Aide in the Kidstop Children Center at Behavioral Health Network! Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Kidstop Children Center program with the following: Working positively with others to achieve classroom goals. Maintaining an attractive, clean, and organized space in coordination with other staff and in accordance with licensing requirements. Communicating pertinent information with regard to families and children to the Teacher and/or Center Director. Implementing activities determined by the classroom teachers using EEC approved curriculum/guidelines and the daily schedule set by the Director. Learning and following all EEC policies including but not limited to safety, special needs, redirection, behavioral management, and appropriate language. Maintains the confidentiality of all children, parents, and staff. Engaging in professional Development; schedules and documents sufficient training hours to maintain the required EEC qualifications. KidStop Program Our Kidstop Infant, Toddler, and Preschool programs are licensed and accredited by the National Association of the Education of Young Children serving the children and families of the Ware and Palmer, MA area. These various programs provide children from 2 months to 5 years old with care and educational services, keeping the small ratio of teachers to children to ensure the quality of care. Our programs offer a structured curriculum, free play, meals, snacks, planned rest and daily outside play. What are we looking for in a Substitute Teacher\'s Aide? Qualifications/ Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Meets EEC qualifications for a Teacher?s Aide/Assistant Group Leader. Ability to obtain (within 3 months) or to have current certifications for CPR, First Aid, and Food Health Safety. Engages in Professional Development, schedule and document sufficient training hours to maintain the required EEC qualifications. Adapts teaching style as necessary in accordance with EEC standards or as requested by the Director. Adapts curriculum to the needs of any child in care. Be willing to work in other classrooms and with varying groups of children as assigned by the Center Director. Have the personal qualities to work effectively with children, parents, and staff in a dynamic, busy, and often noisy setting. Is flexible in the acceptance of assignments and work hours.
